PHILRECA Awards from the Wires 2020

NEECO 1 once again catapults itself as one of the country's top-performing electric cooperatives with new accolades under its belt.

The Co-op is a recipient of nine awards in the PHILRECA Awards from the Wires which is being conducted virtually today. The awarding ceremony caps off the 41st PHILRECA Annual General Membership Meeting: Year-End Strategic Conference and Thanksgiving.
NEECO 1 prides itself as one of the AAA electric cooperatives in the country and a recipient of the following awards:
 
1. Paramount Achievement Award – which is given to the EC for exemplary performance as a triple-A (AAA) category electric cooperative.
 
2. Model Member – EC Award - - is given to the EC for being an outstanding member-EC of PHILRECA
 
3. Strong Commitment to Brotherhood Award - is given to the EC for its unwavering support and for upholding the true spirit of Bayanihan in helping the affected Electric Cooperatives and member-consumer-owners
    during typhoons Tisoy, Ursula, Ambo, Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses through the Power Restoration Rapid Deployment-Task Force Kapatid (PRRD-TFK)
 
4. MCO Prime Participation Award - is given to the EC for conducting State of the EC Address
 
5. Prompt Payor Award- is awarded to the EC for committing itself to timely and efficient settlement of its obligations to PHILRECA
 
6. Limelight Award - given to the EC for being the front runner in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development
 
7. Constant Contributor Award - is awarded to the EC for their continuous support to the goal of the One EC Network Foundation, Inc. (OECNF) in uplifting the lives of our dear brothers and sisters in the sector
 
8. Extra Mile Award - for implementing the Pantawid Liwanag Program, as well as other initiatives that are aimed to uplift the lives of the MCOs
 
9. Special Citation for ECs With Fully Liquidated Subsidy Fund For Rural Electrification – given to ECs for successfully implementing projects that have strengthened the rural electrification program, and for
    efficiently providing a complete liquidation of subsidy funds for said initiatives.
 
 
These new awards prove the dedication of NEECO 1 to excel amidst challenges confronting the sector for the betterment of the MCOs.
 
To show its unwavering support to the One EC-MCO Movement, NEECO 1 is donating 400K and another 205 K from its employees and its Multi-Sectoral Executive Council (MSEC) Overall, NEECO 1 is donating 605k to the One EC Network Foundation to further extend to their chosen causes and beneficiaries.
