As the month of love kicks in, NEECO 1 in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross invites Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) to participate in the Salin-Dugo Bloodletting Activity on February 19, 2021, at NEECO 1 Multi-Purpose Hall at Brgy. Malapit, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.

All blood donors are guaranteed a chance to win one of the raffle prizes at stake.

For interested donors, please be reminded of the following:

Eligibility requirements

1. In good health.
2. At least 16 or 17 years old
3. At least 110 pounds.
4. Able to pass the physical and health-history assessments.

Food and medications

Before your blood donation:

1. Get plenty of sleep the night before you plan to donate.
2. Eat a healthy meal before your donation.
3. Avoid fatty foods, such as hamburgers, french fries, or ice cream before donating. Tests for infections done on all donated blood can be affected by fats that appear in your blood for several hours after eating fatty foods.
4. Drink an extra 16 ounces (473 milliliters) of water and other fluids before the donation.

Observance of Health and Sanitation Protocol:

1. All donors are expected to observe proper wearing of face masks and face shields and mandated by the IATF.
2. Hand hygiene and social distancing must be strictly followed.
3. Temperature in must prior entry to the venue of the activity.
